Jackery Technology was named as finalist of the The smarter E AWARD 2024 in the Category "Energy Storage" for the application Jackery Navi 2000.
As a small-scale storage system with a basic capacity of 2 kWh (expandable up to 10 kWh) and a PV feed-in power of 1,600 W, the Jackery Navi 2000 is directed at the growing balcony solar system market in Germany. This mobile system is compatible with both indoor and outdoor use and capable of grid-forming and grid-led operation, making it suitable for off-grid applications such as camping. Its ability to be charged from the power grid also enables the storage device to be used with dynamic electricity tariffs, which creates added value even during winter when PV generation is low. Additionally, the aerosol-based fire protection system used means that unusually high safety measures are in place for this class of storage system. With a total cost of 1,800 euros for 2 kWh (installation by the end user is possible), a predicted payback period of four years and a guaranteed service life of 10 years and 6,000 full cycles, this product is also competitively priced.
