LONGi Solar Technology was named as finalist of the The smarter E AWARD 2024 in the Category "Oustanding Projects" for the application “Green Power+ Green Hydrogen” System Solution.
This pilot project for generating green hydrogen by means of electrolysis has a production capacity of 20,000 tons/year. The demonstration plant covers the entire process of generating and utilizing green hydrogen. This also includes photovoltaic power generation and, in addition to actually producing hydrogen, it also stores, transports and refines it. A total of 8 alkaline electrolyzers form one hydrogen purification system with a capacity of 8,000 Nm³/h. By December 2023, the project had been operating smoothly for 4,200 hours and had already supplied a total of 22.36M m³ of green hydrogen to users.
