Siemens was named as finalist of the The smarter E AWARD 2024 in the Category "Oustanding Projects" for the application Charging to Infinity - EV Smart Charging.
Hardware and software for intelligent power distribution and management of 200 charging stations have been installed for Lisbon’s Infinity Tower. The six charging islands have an output of 300 kW. Comprehensive information on each charging station allows building management to monitor energy consumption in real time. The system also generates precise reports for each apartment based on monthly consumption, thereby optimizing the building’s energy performance. It is also possible to charge electric vehicles with a minimal carbon footprint Furthermore, using a data analytics module, the building will be able to anticipate resource allocation based on weather forecasts and the predictability of electric vehicle charging congestion, all the while creating optimized charging schedules based on both grid constraints and the individual charging patterns of each vehicle.
