International Power Supply was named as finalist of the The smarter E AWARD 2026 in the category "Energy Storage" for the application "EXERON CheckMate".
The EXERON CheckMate by International Power Supply is a utility-scale 250 kW PCS unit leveraging modular design with 18 SiC-based power conversion modules to allow for efficiency values beyond 99.5 % and continuous operation even when one of the modules fails. Fast power response within 2 microseconds further strengthens the use case of providing synthetic inertial. The liquid cooling system furthermore enables a compact design allowing for up to 3.3 MW per m² and operation up to 60°C without power derating.
