LEM International introduces the DCES series, a new generation of DC energy meters designed for fast-charging and megawatt charging systems. Variants supporting up to 600 A and 1,500 A enable a wide range of applications and are compliant with MID and German calibration law, ensuring legally secure billing. The meters provide real-time measurement data, diagnostic functions, and support bidirectional energy measurement (e.g., for vehicle-to-grid, V2G). Designed for up to 1,500 VDC, wide temperature ranges, and continuous operation without derating, they can be flexibly integrated thanks to their modular architecture and updatable software. This significantly reduces the complexity of legally compliant DC metering and facilitates the scaling of high-power charging solutions.
