SOLYCO Solar was named as finalist of the The smarter E AWARD 2026 in the category "Photovoltaics" for the application "SOLYCO TECC-Connect®: Interconnection Technology for PV Modules".
With the TECC-Connect interconnection wire, solar cells in a module can be connected without the use of silver, lead, or bismuth. The copper-based interconnection wires are coated with an electrically conductive adhesive and are processed at temperatures of 130–180°C, making them suitable for use with perovskite-based solar cells. In principle, a wide range of cell technologies can be interconnected, as TECC-Connect can be used with standard silver metallization as well as copper- or aluminum-based concepts.
