TrinaStorage was named as finalist of the The smarter E AWARD 2026 in the category "Energy Storage" for the application "Trina Storage Elementa 3 Platform".
The Elementa 3 platform is a utility-scale energy storage solution for large-scale renewable integration. The 6.25 MWh Container system and the Elementa Flex with a 1.56 MWh single cabinet design are based on 587 Ah battery cells. The IP 67 protected modules are protected with ultra-thin nano-insulation technology for safety and contain chip level active balancing and bionic liquid cooling system to maintain cell temperature difference under 2.5 °C. During operation, intelligent battery management and smart O&M improve system performance and reliability. The cells are designed for 12,000 extended lifecycles to reduce the TCO of the system.
