The SUN2000-506KTL from Huawei Technologies is an exceptionally powerful solar string inverter with a remarkable power density of almost 1.5 MW/m³. In utility-scale PV systems, it can deliver 506 kilowatts of AC power and over 99% efficiency, underpinned by its vapour-liquid cooling technology. With its 1,000 Volt AC output, which pushes system voltage to the regulatory limit, PV strings can operate with lower current at the same module capacity. Its grid-forming and blackstart capabilities also support more resilient power networks. Our judges commended the inverter’s outstanding power density, efficiency curve, and resource-saving design.
