MEINS introduces CSET, a modular, compact high-voltage substation (up to 138 kV). The solution is more than 10× more compact than conventional systems, reducing space requirements by 80–90 %. Its factory-tested plug-and-play design enables installation and commissioning within approximately 14 days. Designed for smart grids, renewable energy plants, BESS, hydrogen, data centers, urban grids and e-mobility infrastructure, CSET includes integrated SCADA, standard communication protocols, and IoT-based monitoring for predictive maintenance. Thanks to GIS technology (SF6-free available) and fully insulated connections, maintenance can be performed with minimized downtime, reducing operational interruptions and extending service intervals. High cybersecurity standards (including NIS2 and IEC 62443) ensure secure operation. CSET is particularly suited for space-constrained applications such as urban grids and data centers, significantly accelerating grid connections.
