With its PowerCombo-20C2H1600K, Cubenergy delivers a comprehensive utility-scale storage system with a storage capacity of 3 MWh and an output of 1.6 MW. The system is fully integrated within a 20-foot container and therefore requires minimal on-site construction work. Particularly innovative features include the AC-coupled, individually controllable strings, which are designed to enable high levels of safety in the event of a short circuit and a long service life of up to 10,000 cycles. At a cost of under $200/kWh, which is predicted to drop to $180/kWh in 2026, the system offers storage capacity at a very competitive price when taking into account the comparatively little on-site installation work required.
